Brooke Ivy, External Affairs Manager for Alaska Oil and Gas Association
A third generation Alaskan, Brooke was born and raised in Anchorage and attended A.J. Dimond High School. As student of Anchorage's Japanese Partial Immersion Program, she was exposed at a young age to diversity in language and culture, an opportunity she feels expanded her worldview for the better.  Brooke graduated from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon as a Mark O. Hatfield Scholar with a degree in Japanese Studies, and later went to live and work in Japan. Before joining the Alaska Oil and Gas Association, Brooke worked four years for the Alaska State Legislature, most recently as Chief of Staff to former Representative Jason Grenn.  Her prior work experience includes roles as a campaign manager, Assistant Director of Visions Meeting & Event Management; and certified resource specialist for United Way's 2-1-1 program; and grants administrator for Covenant House Alaska. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and co-founder of the Jewel Lake Farmers Market.

OneALASKA - Vote No on 1 is a coalition of over a thousand local Alaskan individuals, businesses, native corporations, and labor organizations opposing the dangerous upcoming oil tax increase ballot initiative. With jobs, future oil investment and production, and Alaska's economy at risk, this ballot measure goes too far.
